The name of the organization shall be
“Pakistani American Congress”
hereafter referred to as “PAC.”
PAC is a nonprofit, non-political, non-religious, non-sectarian, socio-civic, and cultural organization.
PAC pledges to strive for the following objectives:
The Pakistani American Congress will be comprised of:
1)- Board of Trustees (BOT)
The Board of Trustees is the supreme body of the organization and plays a legislative role. All the organizational policies are made and regulated by this board. This board will be headed by
a) Chairman BOT
The Chairman is the Incharge of the board of Trustees and is responsible for overseeing the Board. He or She shall ensure that all the BOT decisions are executed in good faith. The Board Chairman will be elected for 5!years by the majority of the board members.
b) Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees
The Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees will be elected by a simple majority of the Trustees for the term of 5 years. He will serve as Chairman in case of absence, or unavailability of Chairman.

2) Executive Board
The Executive Board is responsible for all the PAC activities, functions, and organizing conferences and conventions. This board is headed by the President who would be elected for a two-year term by the President.
a) President
The President is the head of the Executive Board and holds all executive powers and the responsibilities. He shall execute decisions and resolutions of the Executive Board in adherence to their powers and responsibilities.
b) Sr. Vice Presidents
There shall be two Sr. Vice Presidents to work under the direct supervision of the President, assigned different responsibilities as deemed necessary.
i) Sr. Vice President (US Congressional Relations)
Responsible for making connections with US Senators, Congressmen, and Congressional Leadership, and maintaining records of accomplishments.
ii) Sr. Vice President (US Executive & State Dept. Relations)
Responsible for making connections with the US President, State Department officials, and related leadership, and maintaining records of accomplishments.
c) Vice Presidents
There shall be two Vice Presidents tko work under the direct supervision of the President, assigned different responsibilities as deemed necessary.
i) Vice President (Community, Organizations & Pak Embassy Relations)
Responsible for contacting community organization leaders throughout the USA to encourage PAC membership. Also responsible for Pak Embassy & Consulates staff relationships and maintaining records of accomplishments
ii) Vice President (Pak-US Media Relations & PAC’s Record Consolidation)
Responsible for maintaining good relations with Pak-US media and keeping records of newspaper articles, TV interviews, and media appearances of PAC executives.

Media coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the President. He or she will be responsible for limelighting the PAC activities through PAC Website, UTube, facebook, Twitter, organizational what’s app group as well as through the National/ International print and electronic media.
Membership is granted on an individual basis, and the joining fee is $100.00 per person. Eligibility for membership includes: that he or she is
Their Membership in a Pakistani American organization is a plus factor.
BOT Meetings:
The PAC BOT will hold meetings every 3 months, on the second Sunday of January, April, July, and October, either physically or via Zoom. In election years, the July meeting will be a physical meeting. In case of emergencies, the Chairman can call a BOT meeting at any time.
Executive Body Meetings:
Regular Executive meetings will be held on the first Sunday of every month, led by the PAC President. Meetings will be held either physically or through Zoom, with the President informing attendees of the meeting’s nature two days in advance.
BOT Electoral Procedure:
Executive Board Elections
The election of Executive Board president will be held every two years.
Procedure:
The BOT Chairman will ask for the nomination papers for the PAC Presidential Candidates in the early June of every odd year and compete the election process till the last week of June and announce the winner before June 30th of that year.
Eligibility of the Candidates. Any PAC delegate including the members of BOT, Current or past members of Executive Board are eligible to contest the elections of Executive board President.
Voter Eligibility. Any delegate from the BOT membership or of the current or past Executive boards can vote for the PAC presidential elections.
Annual Membership fee
Membership of any PAC member can be suspended or removed if:
They are proven to be in violation of PAC Constitution or failing to fulfill the terms of PAC membership at any stage.
They are proven to be involved in criminal or ethical misconduct.
Removal Procedure of EC or BOT Members:
The complaint must be filed with the Chairman of the Board.
The Chairman will call a BOT meeting within two working days, either physically or via Zoom, and request votes from each member. The result will be decided based on a 2/3 majority of participating individuals. The video of the result will be shared with each BOT member.
If the complaint is against the Chairman, the Board Vice Chairman will take over as the Board Chairman.
